Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Agri-Content Developer to produce high-quality, engaging content tailored to the agricultural industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, a deep understanding of farming practices, agronomy, and agri-business, and the ability to transform complex agricultural concepts into clear, compelling content. This role involves writing articles, blogs, educational materials, social media posts, and other digital content aimed at farmers, agricultural professionals, and the broader agri-community.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and create informative, original content for blogs, articles, white papers, case studies, and social media related to agriculture, farming, and agribusiness.

– Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical agricultural research, industry trends, and best practices into easy-to-understand content.

– Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest agricultural trends and innovations.

– Produce marketing content for agri-products and services, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

– Write educational material aimed at farmers and agribusiness professionals, such as how-to guides, instructional articles, and success stories.

– Work closely with the digital marketing and social media teams to ensure content is optimized for SEO and fits brand voice and strategy.

– Research and analyze key topics in agriculture, including crop management, sustainable farming, agri-tech innovations, and rural development, to generate fresh content ideas.

– Edit and proofread content to ensure quality and consistency.

– Stay updated with the latest agricultural developments, industry regulations, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agri-Business, Journalism, or a related field.

– Strong knowledge of agriculture and farming practices; practical experience in the field is a plus.

– Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or content development, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.

– Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

– Ability to explain technical agricultural topics in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.

– Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.

– Familiarity with digital content tools like WordPress, Canva, or Adobe Suite.

– Strong research skills and ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
